Is meaning of life something to be discovered, or we invent it for ourselves?
Details
Many of us are taught to look for our 'calling' or find our 'true purpose.' But it raises a bigger question about how meaning works in our day-to-day lives.
Are we unearthing something that already exists, or are we creating it from scratch through our own choices?"
In this in-person meetup, we will discuss the questions:
- Is the meaning of life something out there waiting to be discovered, or is it entirely up to us to invent it for ourselves?
- If the universe itself doesn't care what we do, does that make our daily choices meaningless, or does it make our personal choices matter even more?
- Would a life filled with quiet, simple moments be enough for you, or do you feel a need to leave a lasting footprint behind?
