This is a warm and uplifting community for women who have personally experienced the pressure to become mothers simply because of our biology. We understand what it's like to be told that motherhood is our "purpose," and we choose to define fulfillment on our own terms. (Please Note: This group is for women who are child-free by choice or circumstance. It’s not intended for parents of adult children/empty-nesters.)

Our group is all about positive energy, genuine connection, and celebrating the freedom to design life in our own way. We'll come together for brunches, dinners, house gatherings, community events, and other fun outings - always with the goal of laughter, support, and building friendships. All ages are welcome, and we can't wait to meet you!

Our Group Culture: Commitment, Respect, and Following Through
Our group is built on respect for one another's time and a strong culture of commitment. When you RSVP “Attending,” please treat it as a firm commitment to attend - not a placeholder. We ask that members only RSVP “Attending” if they fully intend to be there. Joining the “Attending” list to hold a spot and later dropping out prevents others from attending and disrupts event planning. We understand that true emergencies happen, and of course those are completely acceptable. However, repeated last-minute cancellations or patterns of holding spots without attending may result in your future "Attending" RSVPs being moved to the waitlist, particularly for events with limited spots.

Membership Fee: Every 6 Months (under $3)
To help cover the cost of maintaining our group on the Meetup platform, members contribute a small fee every six months. The amount is typically under $3 per person and may vary slightly depending on group size or any changes to Meetup’s pricing. Because this is a community-run group rather than something owned by one individual, the cost is shared among members so the group can continue to operate. Fee collection will be announced in advance through the Meetup discussion board, our Facebook group, and email messages sent through Meetup. Payment can be made via Venmo or in cash at an event.

NO-SHOW, LATE CANCELLATION, AND NON-PARTICIPATION POLICY
In order to keep the group current and active, anyone who is a no-show (does not change their RSVP from going to not going if they are unable to attend) three times will be suspended from the group for six months (after which they may rejoin). Members who have three late cancellations (within three hours of an event's start time) will be moved to wait lists for six months. Members who have not attended an event in a 12-month period will also be removed, but are encouraged to rejoin as soon as their schedule allows.
