We are a listening-centered community space for people of color interested in intentional living, community-building, and sustainable housing options in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. We provide a place to share experiences, exchange information, connect with others, and explore a variety of housing models and intentional living practices.
Core goals of this meetup:
- Foster connection, mutual support, and co-created experiences that strengthen our collective capacity for intentional community.
- Support awareness and shared learning about sustainable housing and intentional living options for people of color.
- Share lived knowledge and educational resources that support POC-led communities.

This is the second gathering in a newly forming, monthly, listening-centered space for people of color who are exploring intentional living and community.
To support trust and presence, registration is required. This gathering is limited to those who RSVP through Meetup, and the Zoom link will be shared with confirmed attendees.
Our first gathering reminded us how grounding it can be to slow down, listen deeply, and relate as whole and complete humans—not as problems to be solved or positions to defend. This gathering continues that spirit.
Rather than debating systems or prescribing solutions, we’ll stay rooted in lived experience and relational presence.
This month’s focus:
How do larger forces like money, race, and history quietly shape how we show up with one another, and what does that mean for building sustainable communities together?
This gathering is:
- A calm, respectful, facilitated space, where we speak from personal experience
- An opportunity to practice relational skills that support real community
- An invitation to join on video with your face visible, to support presence and trust. Backgrounds can be blurred or virtual.
This gathering is not:
- A debate, panel discussion, or organizing session
- A place for rants or persuasion
The flow:
- Brief grounding and orientation
- A few gentle prompts related to belonging and community
- Structured sharing, ensuring all voices are heard
- Space for reflection and integration
You’re welcome whether you’re:
- Actively seeking community, or simply curious about intentional living
- Carrying lived experience you want to reflect on, or simply needing a thoughtful, human space to be in
Sharing is always optional. Listening is participation.
