The Connection Gap
Details
Online connection can lead to friendship, love, community, support, and relationships that might never have formed otherwise. It can also bring loneliness, rejection, misunderstanding, unwanted attention, and uncertainty about how to approach one another.
The Connection Gap is a small, facilitated conversation for adults ages 25–45 about the full spectrum of connecting online: what has worked, what hasn’t, and what helps an interaction become something meaningful.
We’re looking for people with a range of experiences—including those who have formed successful relationships online, those who have found connection difficult, and those whose experiences fall somewhere in between. This is not a debate about who has it harder. The goal is to listen with curiosity, find common ground, and better understand what makes online connection feel genuine, safe, and lasting.
Because the gathering will be intentionally small, participation is by application.

Please note that RSVPing on Meetup does not reserve a seat. Selected participants will receive the final date, location, and event details directly.
The first gathering will not be recorded. It is not a dating event, political debate, or therapy session.
The Connection Gap is presented by Dayoff, a social space built around meaningful conversations rather than followers.
