About us
The Creative Canvas Sketching Social Club is a casual space for anyone who enjoys putting pencil to paper. Whether you are a practiced artist or someone who hasn't picked up a sketchbook since school, this group is about getting out of the house and spending time with others who share a love for drawing. There is no formal instruction here; it is simply an opportunity to work on your own projects in good company and meet people in the neighborhood.
We meet regularly to sketch at different spots around the city, from quiet cafes to public parks. We usually spend the first hour or so working on our own pieces, followed by some time to chat, grab a coffee or a drink, and share what we have been working on. If you have been looking for a reason to make more time for your creativity and want to connect with a friendly group of local makers, we would love to have you join us.
