Creative Release Open Studio Saturday (Field Trip Edition!)
Details
Creative Release provides spaces and resources that make artmaking accessible. Make art and make friends!
Whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking to explore your creative side, Creative Release is a safe place to explore your art-making and ideas with others. Bring your ongoing projects or use the art materials available to start something new.
NOVEMBER 1st we are shaking things up a bit!
This week, Creative Release Open Studio is taking a field trip! Join us at our usual time (10am) in The Candy Factory, and then at 11:30 we’ll pack up and head over to Zoetropolis to see Georgia O’Keeffe: The Brightness of Light.
It’s a must-see for every artist—and I’ve heard it will fill your creative tank for miles. Zoe is holding it over just so you can catch it!
What to Expect:
- A welcoming, inclusive environment
 - A variety of art materials to experiment with
 - Demonstrations on how to use different art materials
 - The opportunity to work on your personal projects
 - The chance to meet and collaborate with fellow creatives
 - A moment to relax, create, and escape the usual routine

Who Should Join?
Anyone and everyone! Bring an idea for a card, a knitting pattern you’ve been wanting to try, a shirt that needs mending, or a full-on canvas and paints. Most of all, bring your lovely self! We believe in the power of community and creativity.
