About us
Welcome to The Curious Collectors Coin Workshop Circle. Whether you have inherited a collection you are trying to understand or you have just picked up your first wheat penny at a garage sale, this is a place to learn the ropes. We started this group to create a comfortable, low-pressure environment where people can share their finds, ask questions, and learn how to properly handle and store their coins without needing to be an expert right away.
Our meetings are informal and hands-on. We spend our time looking at pieces under magnifiers, discussing the history behind different mintages, and figuring out the basics of grading. If you have a specific coin you are curious about, feel free to bring it along. We are really just a circle of neighbors who enjoy the hunt and the stories that come with every coin, and we look forward to meeting you at our next session.
