The Daily Sketching Crew Hands On

If you have been looking for a reason to pick up a pen or pencil more often, this workshop is for you. We are hosting a casual session for the Omaha Sketch Your World Daily Workshop, where we focus on the simple habit of drawing what we see around us. Whether you are a total beginner who has not drawn since grade school or someone who has been carrying a sketchbook for years, this is a low-pressure space to sit down, observe our surroundings, and put some marks on the page.

The goal here is not to create a masterpiece, but simply to enjoy the process of sketching in good company. We will spend some time working on our own projects, sharing tips on our sketching process, and just enjoying a quiet hour or two away from our screens. We will meet at the designated spot in Omaha to draw, chat, and help each other get more comfortable with the daily practice of sketching.

We are gathering at the park for another session of Lincoln Daily Sketching. This is a relaxed, low-pressure space for anyone who wants to get in the habit of drawing more regularly. We will spend about an hour sketching together, followed by an optional chance to share our work and chat about the process. Please bring whatever supplies you are comfortable using—a simple sketchbook and a pen are all you need. We will meet near the main fountain entrance, rain or shine, and will find a sheltered spot if the weather doesn't cooperate.
