The "Know Your Rights" campaign, organized by the Council on American-Islamic Relations-Dallas-Fort Worth (CAIR-DFW), is a series of presentations aimed at educating the local Muslim community about their civil rights. The campaign was launched in response to a 56% increase in civil rights complaints nationwide in 2023.
The presentations are designed to provide support and guidance on navigating legal issues. The key areas of focus for the campaign include:

• School Bullying: Addressing the issue of Muslim students being 40% more likely to be bullied than their peers.
• Doxing and Online Harassment: Protecting college students and employed Muslims who are targeted with doxing (publishing private information online) due to their social media posts regarding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
• Public Square Harassment: Combating harassment faced by Muslims in public spaces.
• Immigration and Detainment: Addressing the increase in detainments by the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that are based on political views, even affecting those who are legally in the United States.

CAIR-DFW has already conducted workshops at several Islamic centers in the North Texas area and has more events planned to continue this educational initiative.
