A park hangout to unwind, bring your own thing, and connect at your own pace. Let’s wind down the week with connection and easy games.

After the Dilly Dally Walk, I realized how much interest there is in meeting new people—but also how hard it can be to really connect while we’re moving around. I wanted to create something a little more grounded where we can slow down and actually get to know each other.

This will be a relaxed, low-key park gathering where you’re invited to spend time in a shared space—whatever that looks like for you.

You’re welcome to:
• bring a game to play with others
• bring a book, journal, or something you enjoy doing on your own
• listen to music or just enjoy the sun
• bring a small craft or quiet activity
• chat with others if it feels natural
• or just sit and take it all in

If you’ve been wanting to meet people but don’t always feel up for high-energy social events, this is for you.

I’ll bring a deck of cards, Uno, and a frisbee if anyone feels like playing something light. Feel free to bring a blanket, snacks, or a drink for yourself (or something small to share if you’d like).

Come as you are, stay as long as you’d like, and move at your own pace. We’ll gather from 4:30–6:30 PM at Crestmoor Park, and I’ll be there early to welcome people as they arrive.

We’ll keep things relaxed and flexible, but here’s a general flow:

4:30–5:00 PM
Arrival + getting settled
(Feel free to come anytime—no pressure to be exactly on time)
5:00–6:00 PM
Open hang
– chatting, relaxing, reading, or playing light games
– feel free to move between activities or just enjoy the park
6:00–6:30 PM
Wind down
– group photo, casual conversation, light activity, or enjoying the evening before heading out

Looking forward to an easy, slow Sunday afternoon together
