🌥Hartington 9 miles Biggin🐑Tissington Trail🦆Wolfescote Dale🦆Beresford Dale🌥

This scenic walk starts from the charming Village of Hartington with its stone cottages and duck pond in the centre of the village. Surrounded by stunning countryside, many ancient tracks and routes meet in the village.

Our route heads to Biggin Village and onto the Tissington Trail.

It soon joins Wolfscote Dale, different in character and terrain with steep limestone rocks and craggs.

After a walk along Wolfescote Dale,
our route joins the riverside path along Beresford Dale which should be passable.. We'll decide tomorrow on the route, either way the routes take us back into Hartington.

Bring a packed lunch and plenty of snacks to keep you going
Catching up stops and breaks along the way as always

Walking boots are strongly advised, a walking pole helps, especially on muddy paths
