What we’re about

Welcome to the TDK (The Design Kids) community for Te-Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington! TDK aims to provide industry knowledge, exposure and opportunities to students and graduates in the design community. It's also a totally free global online resource.

As a volunteer city host, we run #TDKtuesdays on the first Tuesday of every month at the PaperKite in the Wellington CBD. Expect hangouts, workshops, feedback sessions and more!

PaperKite | Better Digital Experiences., Wellington
It's time for another #TDKtuesday! This time we'll be inviting in three designers from the industry from various creative backgrounds and experience for a 45 minute panel discussion. Speakers to be announced soon!

Led by TDK city host Calum Turner, topics of discussion include:

Advice for people starting their career in design

Meaningful mahi and design for good

Nurturing moments of delight and curiosity

There'll also be time for the audience to ask questions, so bring something to take notes on! We'll also provide light snacks and refreshments. Arrival is from 5:30pm with the panel kicking off ten minutes later.

Whether you're a student, graduate designer or young professional working in design, this is an awesome opportunity to connect with your local design community and gain some great insights from experienced design professionals.
