About us
Practise real spoken English in a small, friendly online group. Best for B2 and above. If you can already hold a natural conversation in English and want to sound more fluent and confident, you'll fit right in.
Hosted by Adrian β Cambridge-qualified English teacher, British Council trained. 7,900+ lessons, 4.8β on Preply. 20 years helping people speak naturally, not just correctly.
WHAT TO EXPECT
βοΈ Live conversation on Meetup
Join a small, welcoming group (max 5) and talk about real everyday topics. No scripts, no pressure.
βοΈ Natural and guided
Each session has a warm-up to get you talking, then open conversation with light feedback to help you improve.
βοΈ Be yourself
βοΈ One class, three cities
This session is shared with our London, Madrid, and Paris groups β so your conversation partners might come from any of the three.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN (beyond English)
π£οΈ Communication skills β hold a conversation with anyone, about anything, and enjoy it.
βοΈ Balanced thinking β our Debate Nights train you to explore every side of a question and disagree without making anyone wrong. The middle way.
π Emotional intelligence β our Week in Review sessions build the words, and the awareness, for what you're actually feeling.
HOW IT WORKS
π‘ Classes are free
IN-PERSON SOCIALS
Our Paris members now meet face to face too β a monthly social where you practise fluency and accuracy with people you already know from the group. After three online sessions, you're welcome to join. Live in or visiting Paris? Check out our Paris group for dates:

One thing we ask for the meetups: quiet space, camera on. The group is open to non-native English speakers only. A laptop is preferable to a phone β the better your sound and mic, the better.
JOINING THE GROUP
Everyone's welcome β you'll just answer a few quick questions when you request to join.
