I am an Entrepreneur in Movie business based in London.
I founded Indian Movie Friend- Ticketing, Streaming for Indian movies in the UK in 2014 then in 2018 I started www.GoViddo.com a film investment platform for mainstream British feature movies backed by reputable talent (Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globes winning/nominee talent).
Now we have began mainstream British film productions as well with mission to tell deeply rooted Indian stories to global markets in collaboration with reputable western and Indian talent. I am sharing following investment opportunity in our company (in exchange of equity) as we plan to produce slate of movies. It offers generous tax relief and minimal risks. Kindly have a look.
We are a London-based film production company, dedicated to producing a diverse slate of movies. Our first production is "The Entrepreneur Movie," and in the future, we plan to produce "The Great Maratha," a captivating story about the Maratha Empire that once ruled India before the British invasion.
• Our philosophy is centered around bringing untold Indian stories to a global audience on a large scale. We believe in the power of authentic storytelling and collaborate with esteemed Western talent. Our mission is to promote equality and diversity in the mainstream British/Hollywood film industry.
• "The Entrepreneur Movie" is a deeply personal project based on my own experiences as an entrepreneur in the UK, originating from the small town of Tuljapur, Maharashtra, India. While the film reflects my story, it also delves into the central conflict of how global systems are predominantly shaped by the Western world, often favoring individuals from those regions. The movie explores the disparity faced by talented and hardworking individuals from other parts of the world, such as India, in terms of recognition and remuneration. The narrative unfolds through the perspective of my mentor, Mr. Rob Moss, to his students and my story unfolds. We are considering the acclaimed Academy Award-winning actor, Mr. Colin Firth, for the role of Mr. Rob Moss.
• Our production boasts a talented team, including producer Andrew Arther, who is currently working on "Mrs. Churchill's War," a biopic of Mr. Churchill's wife, directed by Bruce Beresford, known for his Academy Award-winning film "Driving Miss Daisy." Additionally, we have Elisabeth, an accomplished sales agent who has successfully distributed Academy Award-winning movies such as "Million Dollar Baby" and "Dallas Buyers Club."
• "The Entrepreneur Movie" is currently in the development stage, involving activities such as screenplay packaging, location scouting, casting, and assembling key personnel like line producers, production managers, and camera operators. We are meticulously planning the budget and schedule. To fund the development, we are seeking £2.5 million, with £1.25 million already pledged and actively raising the remaining £1.25 million.
• As The Entrepreneur Movie Limited, we welcome investments through the UK Government-approved SEIS (Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme), which offers enticing benefits, including a 50% tax reduction and zero capital gains tax. Loss relief is also available.
• For UK-based investors who are taxpayers, the investment deals are as follows:
• SEIS:
- Minimum investment: £10,000
- Your investment: £10,000
- Government tax benefits: £5000
- Net risk-worthy investment: £5000
- Potential returns after 3 years: ranging from 100% to 2500%, equating to £10,000 to £250,000
- In the event of investment loss, the government provides 45% loss relief, resulting in a refund of £225. Hence, the risk on a £10,000 investment is only £2750.
• Additionally, we are also accepting Loan Notes, available to investors all over the world.
• Regarding Loan Notes, the deal entails receiving your invested funds back, along with a 10% return from the production finance stage. This occurs after the development phase, once our sales agent secures production funding from prominent movie studios such as Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, or Netflix. Furthermore, investors will retain 50% of the producer's net profit in perpetuity.
• Revenue sources for our films include theatrical releases, satellite releases, digital distribution, merchandise sales, and inflight entertainment.
• We have already produced a proof-of-concept documentary titled "The Entrepreneur - A Documentary" based on the same story. It received recognition at this year's Cannes Film Festival Market and has been acquired by Amazon Prime. Currently, the documentary is available for streaming on the GoViddo YouTube Channel which received more than 100,000 views from 46 countries.
