About us
A circle for women who sense there's more to the life they're already living.
You don't have to be in crisis to feel like something's missing.
Sometimes it's subtler than that — a quiet restlessness that shows up at 11pm, a flicker in the mirror, a moment between the grocery run and the school pickup where you catch yourself wondering when you stopped knowing what you actually want.
You're not broken. You're not behind. You're just a whole, brilliant, unfinished human being who has been so busy living that you haven't had a moment to remember what that actually feels like.
This is a space for that woman.
The Everyday Sacred is a small, intimate circle of women who are ready to slow down long enough to read their own lives — the ordinary moments, the difficult ones, the inexplicably beautiful ones — and find the meaning that's already woven into them.
We gather in conversation. In creativity. In the kind of honesty that only happens when women feel genuinely safe with each other.
Sometimes we write. Sometimes we make something. Sometimes we simply talk about what's actually alive in us right now — and discover we're not as alone in it as we thought.
There's no curriculum. No self-improvement agenda. No pressure to arrive with anything figured out.
Just women. Gathering. In the ordinary sacred middle of their actual lives.
What to expect:
Small groups — never more than 6 women so there's room to actually be known
Gentle creative prompts and conversation to help you access what's already inside you
A pace that honours real life — no rushing toward breakthroughs
A facilitator who has walked through grief, loss, motherhood and creative reinvention and comes not as an expert at the top of a mountain, but as a woman who knows the terrain
This is for you if:
You've been keeping it together and you're quietly exhausted by it
You used to create — write, paint, make things — and somewhere along the way you stopped
You're moving through grief, transition or change and you need somewhere to put it
You want the kind of conversation that goes beneath the surface without feeling heavy
You sense there's a fuller version of yourself waiting — you just haven't had a moment to listen for her
This is not for you if:
You're looking for a structured program with homework and completion dates
You want advice on how to fix what's wrong with your life
You're not ready to be a little honest with yourself and the women around you
Gatherings are small, local, and intentionally intimate.
Come once and see how it feels. Come back because it fed something real.
The everyday of your life is already full of meaning.
We're just here to help you remember how to read it.
Hosted by Jocelyn Bates — transformational story artist, author of The Midnight Carnival, and a woman who has spent years learning how to turn what's difficult to name into something you can hold.
