About us
The Find Me Project is a missing persons search and intelligence organization based in North Carolina, and we need people like you. We perform land searches, water searches, sonar and diving, drone support, ATV support, horse support, and intelligence/information gathering.
This meetup group exists for one purpose: to build a community of everyday volunteers who are ready to respond when a family needs boots on the ground. You don’t need experience. You don’t need a background in law enforcement or search and rescue. You need a willingness to show up, follow direction, and help bring someone home.
How It Works:
When The Find Me Project opens a search effort, this group gets the call. An event gets created with with the location, reporting time, and any gear or preparation guidance you need before arrival. Search efforts are coordinated by our Guardian Angel Task Force, a trained volunteer search team that will brief all participants on-site, assign sectors, and ensure every volunteer operates safely and effectively.
Between activations, we may occasionally host orientation sessions, training meetups, and community events to keep the group connected and prepared.
