About us
The Fine Point Calligraphy Social Club is a space for anyone who enjoys the slow, deliberate work of putting pen to paper. Whether you are an experienced calligrapher or just someone who has always wanted to learn the basics, this group is about getting together to practice our craft in good company. We meet up to share techniques, trade tips on our favorite inks and nibs, and simply enjoy the quiet focus that comes with lettering.
Our sessions are informal and welcoming. There is no pressure to have perfect penmanship, and we encourage members of all skill levels to join in. We spend most of our time working on our own projects, but there is always plenty of room for conversation and swapping advice. If you are looking for a community of people who appreciate the beauty of a well-formed letter, we would love to have you pull up a chair.
