Calling on all hobby musicians!
Have you ever wanted to play in a band in front of a live audience?
If you can play one beat, strum two chords, sing three notes, and count to four, this is for you…musicians who have never played in front of a live audience.
We will match you with other band mates and work on three songs every Saturday for five weeks and help you build the confidence to play in front of a live audience. There will be guidance for playability, sound, technique and timing. On the sixth week, you will perform the songs with your band.
The cost is $250 which includes five workshops every Saturday starting on May 25/2024. The workshops are two hours at a fully equipped studio within the GTA depending where members are located. Studios are equipped with a PA system, mic’s, amps, and drums. On the sixth week performances will be played at a local venue and pizza will be included. We are looking to form four bands, deposits will be collected in around the second week of May before the first workshop begins and bands will be formed at that time. Please indicate what instrument you play or if you are a vocalist. There will be a $50 (non-refundable) deposit to attend the first workshop. If you decide to continue for the remainder of the program, the remaining $200 (non-refundable) will be paid before the next workshop.
