Fading Light renewed: Our January Meeting

The optional prompt for December was fading light. We are close to the solstice and days are getting shorter and shorter. Almost all cultures celebrate this cycle lighting candles and eating sweets. For others, it is the dead of nature and the promise of the return of the Sun. The fading light of dusk, of a life that is finishing, of a candle... Past the solstice, in January this light returns, new hope, new projects, new opportunities.
