About us
The Fly Casting Collective And Social is a space for anyone interested in fly fishing, whether you have been casting for years or have never held a rod before. We started this group to create a low-pressure environment where people can practice their technique, troubleshoot common issues, and share advice without any pretension. Our gatherings are focused on hands-on learning and helping each other improve, but we also make sure to leave plenty of time to just hang out and talk shop.
We meet regularly to work on our casts in an open space, moving through drills that help with accuracy and distance. You do not need to bring your own gear to join us for the first time, as there are usually a few extra rods available to borrow if you are just starting out. Our goal is to build a friendly community of local anglers who enjoy the craft as much as the conversation. We hope you will come by, pull up a chair, and join us for a session.
