🇫🇷 French Conversation Club – A2

You’ve been learning French for a while, you can understand and say quite a few things… but speaking is still difficult?
This session is for you!

Join us for a 1-hour online French conversation class, in a very small group of 2 to 5 learners, guided by an experienced and qualified French teacher.

At A2 level, the goal isn’t to speak perfectly or quickly. It’s to start using the French you already know, build confidence and gradually become more comfortable having real conversations.

Each session is organised around a topic. Before the class, you’ll receive useful vocabulary and a short resource to help you prepare, so you won’t arrive wondering what to say.

During the session, your teacher guides the conversation, helps you find the words you need and writes corrections, new vocabulary and useful expressions live on screen. You can keep these notes afterwards.

You don’t need to be fluent! If you can already talk a little about yourself, your daily life, your experiences and other familiar topics, you’re ready to join us.

### Comment la France se souvient-elle de la Première Guerre mondiale ?

Le 11 novembre 1918, à 11 heures, les combats cessent. La France sort profondément marquée par quatre années de guerre et 1,4 million de soldats français morts. Aujourd’hui encore, monuments aux morts et cérémonies du 11-Novembre témoignent de la place de ce conflit dans la mémoire collective.
Pendant cet atelier, nous explorerons la fin de la Grande Guerre et le devoir de mémoire à travers des lettres de poilus, des extraits littéraires et des discours commémoratifs.
Un atelier pour mieux comprendre l’histoire et la culture françaises tout en pratiquant votre français, avec un quiz pour terminer !

Vous n’avez pas besoin d’être spécialiste d’histoire : cet atelier s’adresse aux apprenants de français curieux de mieux comprendre la France, son histoire et sa culture — tout en pratiquant leur français.

You already speak French well — but you don’t want to lose it, and you know there’s still a difference between speaking French and expressing yourself exactly the way you want to.

This session is designed for upper-intermediate and advanced learners who want to keep their French active, enrich their vocabulary and become more precise and natural when speaking.

Join us for a 1-hour online conversation session in a very small group of 2 to 5 learners, guided by an experienced and qualified French teacher.
Each session is built around a different topic connected to French culture, current society and everyday life, giving us plenty of material for genuine discussion, opinions and debate.
You’ll receive a resource and vocabulary before the session.

During the conversation, your teacher notes corrections, nuances, idiomatic expressions and useful vocabulary live on screen, without constantly interrupting the flow of the discussion. You can keep these notes afterwards.

This group is ideal if you can already discuss a wide range of topics in French and want to maintain a high level while continuing to refine your spoken French.

🇫🇷 French Conversation Club – B1/B2

You can already speak French… but you’d like to feel more spontaneous, more confident and less frustrated when you can’t find the right words?
Come and practise with us!

This is a 1-hour online French conversation session in a very small group of 2 to 5 learners, guided by an experienced and qualified French teacher.

Each session explores a different topic connected to French culture, society and everyday life.

You’ll receive vocabulary and a short resource before the class to help you prepare and give you ideas for the conversation.

During the session, your teacher guides the discussion while giving everyone plenty of time to speak. Corrections, useful expressions and new vocabulary are written live on screen, so you can see them without constantly interrupting the conversation — and keep the notes afterwards.

• Only 2–5 participants
• Interesting, guided discussions
• Preparation material and vocabulary

• A friendly international group
• A qualified and experienced French teacher

This group is ideal if you can already hold a conversation in French but want to speak more naturally, expand your vocabulary and stop translating everything in your head before you speak.

This is a one-off session, with no commitment. If you enjoy the experience, you’ll have the possibility to join our weekly French Conversation Club afterwards.
