Grassington to Malham via Weets Top & Janet’s Foss

A walk on moorland paths & tracks, and a couple of stiles, between two dales, with some lovely views weather permitting.

10 miles Moderate/Strenuous

These walks may be in open countryside with hills & steep paths, stiles or small crossings and some rough terrain. They will be at a brisk pace so are recommended only for experienced walkers with good levels of fitness. Walking boots (or trail shoes) and warm & waterproof clothing appropriate for the season are essential. Distance 8-10 miles

Out Catch bus 874 from Wetherby (0835), Leeds (0910), Otley (0950) & Ilkley (1020) with connections from Bradford on 864 (0925) at Ilkley, to Grassington arrive (1110), or the 72 from Skipton (1030) arrive Grassington (1055)

Return on 864 from Malham (1640) to Skipton, Ilkley & Bradford. Change in Ilkley for the 874 to Otley, Leeds and Wetherby.
