Kidstones-Thoralby -West Burton

9 miles – Moderate - (Explanation of gradings). If the weather is kind to us this should give us beautiful views back from Kidstones pass, across to Wensleydale & down Bishopdale. This is on fairly decent paths with the one ascent at start from Kidstones up a rocky path.

Out: Catch bus 875 York opp rail station (0820); Leeds City bus station (0915); Guiseley Morrisons (0952); Ilkley (1016) connecting with 874 from Otley & 864 from Bradford Interchange; Grassington (1058) connects with 72 from Skipton; to arrive Kidstones (1140).

Return From West Burton on bus 875 (1656); Grassington (1753); Ilkley (1834) for trains to Bradford; Guiseley Morrisons (1855) for bus 34 to Otley (1902) or onwards to Leeds & York.
