International Ayr Show - Saturday full day - (FREE EVENT)

Details
The International Ayr Show is Scotland's only air show. I've been to a lot of these over the years and it's notable for the variety of subjects to photograph. If you're not especially interested in aircraft, there are tens of thousands of people milling about, some in fancy dress. Add to that vintage cars, various exhibits and the stunning Ayrshire coastline and there's something for every photographer.
Rather than list what's flying this year as it changes right up the last minute, I suggest looking at the official event page for current information. Two highlights are the Red Arrows and the Typhoon.
I suggest using the train to get here unless that's infeasible as parking can be very difficult and you will be guided away from the centre by even stewards to designated car parks. Ayr railway station is about 10-15 minutes walk from the sea front. Do bring sun protection, some snacks, and water. There are plenty of food stands around offering the usual burgers, pizza etc.
Finally, every time I've been to this event, the mobile phone network seems to collapse, so it's very unlikely I'll be able to update this page on the day or be contactable at all. I'll wait around the initial meeting point for 15 minutes or so before heading off.
