Govanhill International Festival and Carnival begins!

The Govanhill International Festival and Carnival begins!
The Carnival paraders will be gathering from 12.30 in Queen's Park, on Saturday, by the main gate opposite Victoria Road. The parade will start at 1pm (as far as I can tell) and march down Victoria Road, then will zig-zag and end at Govanhill Park (which is not very far away).
I will be at Queen's Park Cafe at the top of Victoria Road from about 12.45. It is called Cafe, but it is really a pub. Hurrah.
Oh, yes, and then I will take some photographs.....
