What we’re about
The Glasgow Photography Meetup welcomes anyone who enjoys taking pictures, regardless of experience. If you are keen to meet up with fellow photographers to exchange ideas, talk about and take pictures, The Glasgow Photography Club is for you.
As a group we have a special interest in people in pictures and portraiture, as well as a comprehensive list of meetups ranging from landscape, street and anything else you care to try out. Let us know the kind of meetups you would like to get involved in, and we will try to arrange events that are of interest.
If you add your attendance to a meetup, please do remember to change your RSVP to let us know if you can no longer make the event. Anyone who fails to do this on more than three occasions will be taken off the members list.

Join us for a fantasy shoot along the banks of the River Kelvin in Glasgow's West End. This is a fabulous location for an ethereal fantasy shoot with waterfalls, bridges, brilliant foliage and old relics as our backdrop. We can capture the atmosphere with our Model/s in fantasy costume and flowing gowns.
If the weather proves inclement we can take the shoot to the dramatic 'Harry Potteresque Cloisters' of Glasgow University or even the Govan Old Parish Church with it's dramatic Victorian Gothic Architecture. All great venues for a splendid fantasy shoot.
On the day we will be working on no more than a 1:3 model to photographer ratio (usually less). You will have access to lighting including flash and continuous lighting and light modifiers. Feel free to bring along any equipment you would like to use at the shoot. Although not strictly a tutored shoot, an expert will be on hand to help with setup and advise. The event is suitable for those who are relatively new to model shoots as well as more seasoned photographers.Our intended models are:
