Life after 50 should be about enjoying the moments that make life rich. The Good Life Club -formerly Crystal Lake Fun- is a welcoming community for adults in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas who enjoy getting out, trying new things, and sharing experiences with great people.

Our members come together to explore the good life through simple adventures and meaningful connections.

You’ll find us enjoying things like:

• strolling farmers markets and local festivals
• casual walks and outdoor activities
• live music nights and patio gatherings
• coffee meetups and restaurant outings
• crochet, knitting, and creative afternoons
• seasonal events and local discoveries

Whether you're new to the area or simply looking to expand your social circle, this group is about friendship, laughter, and enjoying life over 50 together.

Members join us from communities throughout the Fox Valley area including Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Cary, Huntley, Marengo, Lake in the Hills, McHenry, and nearby towns.

• HOST REQUIREMENTS Hosting an event in this group is an exciting way to connect with others and create amazing experiences! As a host, you’ll play a key role in keeping members engaged, informed, and excited. Hosts must attend in person the events they create.
  Here’s what makes a great host:
  ✅ Keeps the group in the loop – Regular updates ensure everyone stays informed and excited. All members that RSVP to an event must be included to and invited to any pre or during event activites.
  ✅ Keeps events within the community – Events created in this group is required to stay here— moving them to another group outside of the group or to a private page is not allowed.
  ✅ Follows through on hosting – If a host stops updating an event, excludes people that have RSVPs, or becomes inactive on the event for more than 30 days, the event host will be reassigned to the group owner to keep things running smoothly.
