[**Tuesday**] Terrace Pond - 5+ Miles

This is a moderate, very scenic (and popular) hike in the heart of the NJ Highlands area. About 600 ft total elevation gain but includes some interesting yet easy rock scrambles.

Due to the limited parking at the trailhead we will car pool from West Milford Park and Ride on Old Rte 23. The distance from the car pool location to trail head is about 8 miles or 15 minutes.

Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 973-704-7362.

**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
