About us

The Grumpy Women's Club
Fed up? Overwhelmed? A bit grumpy? Can't be asked? Wondering when everyone else got the instruction manual?
Come and join us.
We're a relaxed, friendly group for women over 40 who fancy some creativity, proper conversation and a bit of connection β€” without the pressure to be positive all the time.
We meet in Bagshot on the first Thursday of the month, 7–9pm. Each session we make something different β€” you don't need to be "creative" and you definitely don't need any experience. We provide the materials and show you what to do.
The important bit isn't what you make. It's having somewhere to put down the responsibilities for a couple of hours, meet other women and just be yourself. There'll be conversation, laughter, tea, cake and the occasional "is it just me…?" moment.
What to expect
🎨 A different creative activity each month
β˜• Tea, coffee and something nice to eat
πŸ’¬ Plenty of time to chat β€” the good bits and the grumbles
🀝 Other women in the same stage of life
✨ No pressure, no judgement, no forced positivity
You don't have to arrive knowing anyone. You don't have to be crafty. You don't have to have a particular problem to solve. Just come as you are.
We keep it small β€” around 10 women β€” so there's a real chance to get to know each other, and it works best when people start together.
Dates
πŸ“… Thursday 1 October, Thursday 5 November, Thursday 3 December β€” 7–9pm

The Grumpy Women's Club is run by Brightstead, the adult wellbeing side of our practice in Bagshot. It isn't therapy β€” it's a group. But we're a friendly bunch, and if things are tough we know where to point you.
Come for the craft. Stay for the conversation. Leave feeling a little less alone.
