Technology was meant to make life easier — yet for many, it has become overwhelming. There is no shame in not knowing how it all works. These systems were introduced long after many of us had already mastered our careers, households, and responsibilities.

In this talk, we’ll gently break down how your computer’s filing system actually works, starting at the most basic level. And the best part? They didn’t reinvent the wheel. Much of how your computer organizes information mirrors systems you already understand — file cabinets, folders, and categories. Once you see the parallels, what once felt confusing becomes logical.

With that foundation in place, you’ll be able to neatly store and organize important documents, health records, financial information, photos, and treasured memories with confidence and ease. You’ll leave with a clear, practical framework that helps you feel truly in control of your digital world — saving time, reducing frustration, and bringing real peace of mind.
