Fahnestock State Park, 8+mile hike. Picnic to follow.

Discover this approximately 8+mile hike in Fahnestock State Park. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 hours to complete. So, please understand what you're signing up for.

This hike will have approximately 1,100ft of elevation changes. We will witness wonderfully built rock walls, beautiful lookouts, and an occasional waterfall. If picnic is scheduled, and you'd like to join, please bring something that could be shared (i.e. potluck) and a chair.

Parking will be at the Pelton Pond parking lot.

Please arrive ten to fifteen minutes early because we plan to start promptly at the time listed.
