Talking Rock < New Trails

About This Hike: Track Rock is a nice trail system near Ellijay. We'll get our usual eight or so miles, then either meet for dinner afterwards and/or visit one of the many local orchards.

Of note: The trailhead is about an hour from Alpharetta, but this is a nice park and well worth the trip. Here is a link to the park: https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/7051687/talking-rock-nature-preserve

Directions: The trailhead is less than ten minutes from Hwy 515. If you follow your phone's map, you'll turn left at 136 onto a paved road, turn right, then take the first right at the circle onto Ellijay Road, then turn right shortly thereafter onto Old Whitestone. That road will start as paved, then turn into a gravel/dirt road. The trail is shortly ahead on the right.

Option 2: Be at the intersection of 515 and 136 by 11:50 and you can follow me to the trailhead.
