Wilderness Camp < New Trails

Wilderness Camp is a new trail system (made live on Jan 2025) with lots of flowy trails.

We'll meet at the parking lot, then start our hike on the orange trails, eventually connecting with options for the blue, pink, red, and gray trails to get our mileage.

Of note: this trail system will get even longer as they are currently working on an additional seven miles of trails.

Directions:
Though on a map it looks like it is in the middle of nowhere (well...it is), it takes less time to get there than to Allatoona or Red Top. Just follow your phone directions, and don't worry if the last turn onto Wilderness Camp Road takes you down a lonely road in the woods. The parking lot is about a mile down from this last turn.

Distance = ~ eight miles
Time: Budget 2 1/2 to 3 hours
Skill Rating = Easy
Pace = 2½ to 3 miles per hour
Special Equipment = None needed
Other Stuff = No dogs allowed, but children that can keep the posted pace are encouraged to attend

We'll go to a local restaurant or brewery after the hike.
