I hiked MammothMarch Alabama in 2025 and it was fun. It's organized more like a marathon with aid stations along the way. I've decided to register for the South Carolina version for 2026, which takes place at Kings Mountain State Park (near Charlotte, NC). I've registered for the 30-mile option, meaning I have to hike 30-miles within the 12-hour time limit. There is also a 20-mile option that must be completed within 8-hours. Obviously, only strong hikers should attempt this event!
