Hemlock Falls plus gem

We will enter the forest for 1.5 miles down to hemlock falls, people are welcome to stop here and head back.

To access Moccasin Creek falls/ the Gem, it will be additional miles, will require getting your feet/ calves wet in the river and rough terrain. additional 1-2 miles each way, the trail isn't as maintained compare to hemlock.
There will be rocks, boulders, and trees. Elevation gain/loss through out. We'll take some time to cool off at the waterfalls and snack before we head back to the vehicles.
Carpooling is advised. Small parking lot is free. if its full, the surrounding parking area charges $$$.
The Hike specs:
Distance = (hemlock is 3 miles, Moccasin is 2-4 miles)
Time = Budget +3 hours
Skill Rating = moderate or difficult, but not for the faint of heart
Pace = not very slow, i don't slow down if you cant keep up.
Special Equipment = Hiking shoes, hiking poles, etc. Additional clothes if you plan to get in the water, water shoes is a plus
Food: We will snack at the waterfalls,
Kids/Pets = Pets and children that can keep up welcome
