Details
The Tarflower chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society has a work day in the garden every second Sunday morning of the month.
We will be helping out before breakfast in the garden. (Breakfast may start late) Please see below for information about the work day and a signup link for the FNPS:
This is our monthly volunteer morning as we get our restoration areas ready for fall. This is also a great time to see the Sandhill as it continues to recover from the burn. Plan to help weed, water and possibly install new plants. Our restoration project now includes three unique habitats: Sandhill, Xeric Hammock, and Scrubby Flatwood. This is also a great time to learn about native plants and the wildlife they support. We hope you can join us.
Be sure to bring water or another beverage to stay hydrated, garden gloves, a hat and sunscreen. Please let us know if you can volunteer by registering on our SignUp.com page using the link here. https://signup.com/mobileweb/2.0/vspot.html?activitykey=277025308189166083#choose_jobs_page
