What we’re about
Note: Brit Fitzpatrick is the Founder and Organizer of The Indianapolis Supply Chain Meetup.
The mission of The Indianapolis Supply Chain Meetup (#TINSCM) is to nurture and grow the world’s foremost open, global, and multidisciplinary community of people devoted to building the supply chain networks of the future.
We started in NYC, and are now evolving into a network of meetups focused on supply chain, innovation, and technology.
Each community is part of The Worldwide Supply Chain Federation (#TWSCF). You can read our manifesto here: The Worldwide Supply Chain Federation - Our Manifesto (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pP_6lzJqen0BRYuwcCpajEvgbQrXEHLv). Learn more about our parent organization at: www.theworldisasupplychain.com (http://www.theworldisasupplychain.com/).
The group is open to anyone interested in the future of global supply chains who is based in the Greater Indianapolis Region. We hold monthly gatherings to discuss Supply Chain, Technology, and Innovation.
TERMS
The mission of The Indianapolis Supply Chain Meetup is to nurture and grow the world’s foremost open, global, multidisciplinary community of people devoted to building the supply chain networks of the future.
The Leadership Team develops, curates, and organizes a series of events that seek, encourage, and include a wide range of views on the most significant problems related to global supply chain networks, as well as the innovations and technologies that may be deployed to solve them. Diversity of ideas and perspectives from our members, our audience, and the speakers we invite to share their work with us is critical.
To achieve our mission we must provide a respectful environment for our speakers and audience, one that is conducive to multidisciplinary and collaborative problem-solving.
By joining us at any of our events, you agree to maintain a respectful environment during all parts of the program.
By registering for any of The Indianapolis Supply Chain Meetup’s events, you acknowledge that you may receive promotional messages from our sponsor(s). You also acknowledge that you may be photographed during any of our events, and that such photographs may be used in promotional media related to that event, or future events.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Our events are dedicated to providing a positive experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual, orientation disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment or disrespect towards event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue, including talks, related workshops, parties, Twitter, and other online media. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of The Indianapolis Supply Chain Meetup's leadership team and banned from future events. While we do not discourage the presence and participation of professional services providers in our community, we strictly prohibit sales solicitations of #TINSCM members immediately before, during, and immediately after any meetup.
