a note from Randy about his talk:

"I propose a way of seeing that the experience we are having—right now, in its immediate givenness—is at once exactly as it appears and yet vastly more: utterly beyond everything and at the same time all-embracing, encompassing every possible way of framing it.

This is what I call the absolute infinite (infinitum absolutum) ultimate reality (ultimas realitas). I suggest that this insight represents the crowning expression of the perennial philosophy (philosophia perennis), and that it hinges upon a precise metaphysical act: the cognition of the infinitesimal point at the center of the Godhead.

What emerges from this act is a way of framing absolutely everything—an ontology of absolutely everything. Every frame of reference involves an expansion of reference, but this one expands all the way: to the full sphere of reality and simultaneously to the infinitesimal point of reference that is pure self-reference. This framework finds and fills the foundation and formation of phenomena from first philosophy to ultimate philosophy; the ontology of reality and ultimate reality, the philosophy of everything absolutely. The absolute infinite ultimate reality is pure and radical nothingness exploding and imploding to absolutely everything infinitely fast in pure being. This perspective is my current way of articulating the most comprehensive approach to divine simplicity in the form of the prosthesis of theory.

For this reason I call it the Theory of Absolutely Everything. But unlike scientific “theories of everything,” this proposal belongs to philosophy. Its proper name is universal ontology.

Within this framework, the activity occurring at the center of reality is pure noetic activity, pure theoresis: the self-knowing of consciousness itself. This cognitive activity is supported by seeing universal science (mathesis universalis) in its proper place at the core of universal ontology through the infinite sphere, functioning as a hermeneutical crystal ball of the All.

The housing of this engine of seamless transmission is the paradigm of the sphere. The sphere expresses the metaphysical consequence of positing the power of the one and only true infinitesimal point.

Thus emerges what I call the universal ontology of the infinite sphere—the house and home of absolutely everything.

The divine simplicity (divinitas simplicitas) disclosed in the beatific vision (visio beatifica) of the All (apeiron) can be understood, I suggest, as the radical positing of this point in its absolute singularity.

In this talk I will enact this philosophy of the absolute infinite ultimate reality, developing a technically precise distinction between absolute infinity and the infinitesimal point. Drawing on my earlier work in cybernetic metaphysics and my current project of universal ontology, I will situate this framework in dialogue with: the real-ontology and universal ontology of the phenomenologist Hedwig Conrad-Martius, the formal mathematics of distinction developed by George Spencer-Brown, and the metaphysical architecture of Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka and the Peter Byrne Manchester."
