Hey you all! We're extending the deadline for our poetry contest to May 27th!
We are accepting submissions for our inaugural volume of Rung 13: A Poetry Zine for the Philosophically Inclined!
👉 Top 15 entries will be published in our Summer ‘26 volume
👉 Top 3 entries will be featured in a virtual celebratory poetry reading
👉 First place will also receive a $100 prize!
We’re looking for poets with a bite; perspectives fixed in raw reality; human minds enraptured in the flux of flesh and cognition 🔥
We value rhythms emanating from the highest realms of wisdom just as much as truths delivered from the devastating depths of Hell 🔥
Guidelines:
- Entries are limited to one per person per contest.
- We only accept Document and PDF submissions.
- The submission maximum is 5 poems
- Poems should be no more than 40 lines long (12-point Times New Roman, not including spaces)
- Remove all identifying information from your Document or PDF submission for blind review.
There is a minimum donation of $5 to enter our poetry contest; all funds generated will go towards our mission of making academic philosophy more accessible.
