About us

The Listening Lounge is a free, co-designed peer support group program that has been running since March 2025.

The groups are for:
Adults (aged 18+) who are feeling down, low, anxious, stressed or lonely AND for anyone who identifies as having a lived experience of mental health challenges big or small.

The Listening Lounge groups are:

  • Free
  • Weekly
  • Co-led by two trained peer workers with lived experience themselves

We currently have 8 groups running weekly at these locations:

  • Joondalup - Monday Nights

  • Leederville - Monday Nights

  • New! Online Group - Tuesday Nights

  • Cloverdale (Belmont) - Tuesday Nights

  • Kelmscott (Armadale) - Wednesday Nights

  • New! Hazelmere (Midland) - Thursday Nights

  • New! Baldivis (Rockingham) - Thursday Nights

Most people register on eventbrite or text, so the number of people attending on meetup doesn't tell you how many people are coming to group. Our small group might average 3 or 4 people , while our bigger groups average 6-8 people per week.

  • If you don't want to register on MeetUp, you can also register via eventbrite HERE

  • If you register on Meetup, I recommend messaging me your email address so I can email you venue and parking information plus other info about the group.
