East Coast USA Tasting at Christos' House

Here's an unusual and unique tasting and a first for this group - wines from East Coast USA focusing on Virginia and New York State! There is winemaking of some sort in nearly every U.S. state and of course California is the biggest by a long way. The west coast states of Oregon and Washington are the next biggest producers, but New York and Virginia are numbers 4 and 5!

I have visited wineries in Virginia and Long Island, NY so can vouch for the quality of the wines. In fact several of the wines we will taste were bought at the cellar doors. We will taste whites from Finger Lakes, NY and Virginia, and reds from Virginia and Long Island, NY. In all 9 different wines. See the photo for some of the wines.

Numbers will be limited to 12 people seated round one table, so almost a bottle of fine wine per person. During the tasting a selection of fine cheeses, pates, and other food will be served.

REFUNDS: The 'ticket price' for this event is £39.50 including £2.50 for paypal/meetup fees. If you cancel by Tuesday 21st October latest AND there is someone on the waitlist who pays for your place you will get a refund of £37.

Please note that Meetup charge an additional fee to attendees on top of the price which the Organiser sets. This fee is paid direct to Meetup and is beyond our control.
