The Best of Rioja Wine Tasting with Tim Atkin MW with Discounted Tickets

A very special tasting showcasing the top wines from Rioja based on Tim Atkin MW's globally respected annual Special Rioja Report. As one of the world's leading experts on Spanish wines, each year Tim produces an annual Special Rioja Report highlighting the best producers from the region. Based on his report, this special tasting will showcase wines from bodegas he has selected to appear in his list of 'First, Second and Third Growths' as well as a group of producers he has highlighted as 'Rising Stars'.

As Tim says ''Bringing Rioja’s best wineries together in a single room in London is always a highlight of my year. The event will provide a unique overview of what’s happening in the region. It will feature traditional and modern producers, single vineyard wines and pan-regional blends, different sub-regions and villages and the full line-up of Rioja’s 14 grape varieties. The best news of all is that many of the winemakers will be there in person pouring their wines. So brush up your Spanish, or Spanglish to prepare for this unique tasting.'

This is a walk-round tasting which will last from 5.30 to 8.30 and you can get there at any time, but don't delay if you want to taste as many wines as possible! I will be there from the start to welcome you and introduce you to other members of the group. I will do a guided wine walk at 6.30 pm but this will be limited to 4 people and preference will be given to new members. Tickets are normally £55 + £4.21 Eventbrite fees = £59.21, however I have a discount for members of this group......£50 + £2 Meetup/paypal fees = £52. You will be sent a ticket during the week of the event. I have reserved 10 tickets for the group

Please note that Meetup now charge an additional fee to attendees on top of the price which the Organiser sets. This fee is paid direct to Meetup and is beyond our control.

REFUNDS: If you cancel your place by Friday 6th March you will get a refund of £50 but, IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE, only if there is someone on the 'waitlist' who books and pays for your place.
