What we’re about

The saying "Running Is Cheaper Than Therapy" is a bit provocative but it does hold some truth. Our group is made for any individual who has been effected by drug addiction or any other traumatic event. We will share our stories, provide encouragement and most importantly take action on our struggles by pounding the pavement!

The practice of running is a great way to bring yourself to the present moment, bring agency back into your life and provide an opportunity to release some endorphins! No matter what you are going through, I hope running becomes a tool that you can use at your disposal.

I am someone that suffers from complex trauma and PTSD. My Dad and brother both have struggled with an opioid addiction and it is something that affects me every day. In the past I have tried to hide this from work and social life but I found that avoiding the issue only made me suffer more. I want to provide hope to individuals going through something similar and let them know they are not alone.

Thanks for reading our message and I will post articles on how to stretch to prevent injury, healthy foods, and anything else that involves running!
