TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Each team will play the other three teams twice for a total of 6 games in the Round Robin. 7th game will be a playoff semi-final 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 (head-to-head record, then rock/paper/scissors will determine tiebreakers). 8th and final game will be a 1st place finals between the two winners and a 3rd place match between the two losers.

Games to 15 win by two.
Switch sides after first team to 8.

For the 6 Round Robin games, winner of rock/paper/scissors will choose which side of court to start and serve first. The second game against the same team, the other team will choose which side of court to start and serve first. For the 2 playoff games, the higher seed will choose which side of court to start and serve first.

RULES

• Double contact is allowed during the setting action on both 1st and 2nd contact, provided the ball remains on the same side of the court.
• No hand setting the ball over the net (both intentional and accidental).
• No tips/ dinks/ throws/ dunks/ redirects with open hand finger action when attacking (versus blocking) the ball.
• Must bump/ swing/ strike the ball (accidental mis-hits with fingers while using swinging motion are legal), use closed fist, use palm (roll), use knuckles (pokey), use stiff fingers together (cobra).
• A block counts as one of a team's three contacts.
• Males cannot block females.
