About the talks:

Spark(AR)ing a New Career Path by Emma Twersky (DevRel at Google):

We all started the first quarantine with lofty goals: personal website redesigns, learning new frameworks -- I wanted to learn how to make Instagram AR filters. Two months later, I was using that project to interview at Google. In this talk, I'll use my personal journey to make a case for leveraging passion projects into a career path, explore career paths outside of "SWE III" and talk about the benefit of trying things you might be bad at - including making an Instagram filter!

An interview with Quincy Larson (Teacher and Founder of freeCodeCamp.org)

In this session, Ido Shamun will interview the founder of freeCodeCamp on online learning, creating content for devs, the future of developer communities, and more.
