Little Pond Boardwalk (Loop) Trail
Details
The boardwalk is an elevated 1.2 mile wooden walkway where we can explore the wetland environment around Little Pond.
We can take our time and check out whatever comes our way.
The trail crosses the Bantam River in two locations. Open year-round, the boardwalk is particularly interesting in the spring and fall during bird migrations, as well as in spring and early summer when numerous wildflowers are in bloom.
The trail and boardwalk may be accessed from Whites Woods Road just north of the intersection with Bissell Road.
What to bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes/hiking boots
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Water
- Binoculars if you are into birdwatching
