About us
We're a group of language learners at all levels who get together to practice and improve our language skills in a relaxed, judgment-free setting. Whether you're a complete beginner or working toward fluency, there's a place for you here. We believe the best way to learn is by actually using the language with other people, so we focus on conversation and real interaction rather than traditional classroom-style lessons.
Our weekend meetups are pretty casual. We typically spend time working through conversation topics, sharing resources that have helped us, and just chatting in whatever languages people are studying. You'll usually find us exploring different languages depending on who shows up that week, which means you'll be exposed to new languages and meet people from different backgrounds. We also help each other navigate the frustrations and breakthroughs that come with language learning.
If you're serious about actually speaking another language and want to be around other people with the same goal, come join us. No pressure, no perfectionism required. Just bring curiosity and a willingness to stumble through conversations together.

Helsinki Korean for Beginners: Small Group Speaking Practice
3WR3+C4 Helsinki, Helsinki, FIπ€ Korean for Beginners: Your First Hour β Live Class for Complete Beginners
A live one-hour Korean class on Zoom for complete beginners. We start from hello, everything is explained in English, and you speak from the first minutes.
In the hour, you'll learn to:
- Greet people and say goodbye politely
- Ask people to slow down or repeat when you get lost
- Understand how Hangul letters build syllable blocks, and read μλ νμΈμ
- Order a drink, ask how much it is and pay
Every word comes with romanization, so you don't need to read Hangul yet.
You repeat together with the whole class (nobody is singled out), then practise in small breakout rooms of 2 or 3. Afterwards your phrase sheet with a pronunciation guide stays in your account.
At most 12 people. Camera optional, nothing recorded, so feel free to get things wrong.
An RSVP on its own won't get you in. Register through the link below to book your place.
