Music Mix MINI – Structured Jam Session
Are you looking for an intimate and focused environment to jam, connect with fellow musicians, or even find potential bandmates? Join us for Music Mix MINI, a special edition of our regular event, this time held in a professional band/rehearsal room for a more immersive musical experience!
This 3-hour paid event is designed to give attendees more time to play, collaborate, and connect. Whether you’re an experienced musician or just starting out, this structured jam provides a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy making music together.

What to Expect:
- Structured Jamming: Please contact an organiser for a list of songs to jam on or to suggest a song you would like to try and play with others.
- Professional Guidance: Each rehearsal room will have a dedicated band leader to coordinate the session, guide the group, and ensure everyone gets a chance to participate.
- Instrument Rotation: You’re welcome to rotate instruments during the session, giving you the chance to explore and try something new!
- Free Jamming: If time allows, feel free to jam any other songs you like.
To ensure a productive session, we may ask participants to rotate instruments or roles as needed, to avoid situations like having three drummers in one room or four keyboardists in another.
Practical Details:
- Instruments provided: As this will be held in a rehearsal room, instruments will be available for use including guitars, drums and keyboards. However, you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer!
- Cost: The cost of the room fee will be divided at the end, which is dependent on the number of people attending. Typically, you can expect to pay between HK$100 to $150 for the whole 3-hour session.
- Duration: 3 hours.

Cancellations: As the studio for these jam sessions needs to be booked in advance, please cancel your Meetup RSVP if you cannot make the session for any reason. Ideally, any cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance of the session in order to make space for other potential interested participants.

Guests: If you wish to bring a guest, please speak to an organizer who can then update the list of participants offline. The same cancellation rules above apply to guests as well.
