Psychedelic Professionals Meet: BOULDER

Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Groups are in Boulder, Denver, and Fort Collins! Let's keep Colorado on the leading edge of psychedelic medicine work by coming together in community to learn, share, and grow. Each Psychedelic Professionals Meetup Group starts with an informative topic relevant to research, practice, policy, or activism around psychedelic medicines, followed by open discussion and an opportunity to connect with like-minded others.

For October, join us for a special conversation with Matt Grimes, Chief Insurance Officer of the National Psychedelics Association. As facilitators obtain licensing in Colorado and access to psychedelic medicines grows generally, we're all wondering about how to get affordable professional liability insurance! If you've looked into this yourself already, you know there are almost no good options out there. In this conversation, Matt will give us an overview of the insurance landscape for practitioners offering psychedelic support or facilitation. He'll also give us a preview into what he's helping cook up at the National Psychedelics Association, where they are spearheading the launch of an insurance company to provide both General Liability (GL) and Professional Liability (PL) coverage specifically designed for Facilitators and Healing Centers (and priced at substantially lower premiums than what is currently available!). We hope you will join us, and bring your questions!

Suggested donation of $10, payable at the door. Door fee goes toward paying for the rented venue and supporting the non-profit work of The Nowak Society. If you have ideas for topics or presentations for these meetup groups or would like to be more involved, please contact us!
