Breakneck Ridge Trail -- Fall Foliage Season!

It's been a minute, but we're back! I'm hoping to see some fall foliage, and this is the perfect time to see those views with a trail that'll make us work for it :)

This is a difficult hike. Please read through the entire description and link to the trail BEFORE signing up.
Full Disclosure: I have not done this hike. I'll bring a detailed trail description, and we will learn together. Please bring your sense of adventure!

• Type: Out & back
• Level: Very difficult
• Duration: Dependent on pace

Agenda:

• If you're riding from Grand Central: We are meeting at the clock at 8:30AM to find our train seats at 8:40AM. I'll post car # if you're running behind. Train takes off at 8:45AM to get in by 10:15AM to Breakneck Ridge stop on Poughkeepsie line. We'll walk or cab to trailhead together.
• If you're driving up: Please be at the Breakneck Ridge Trailhead by 10:30AM. We'll likely start hiking by 10:45/11AM.
• Duration of trail will depend on our pace and how many stops we take.
• Let's hit a bar after for food & bev!

Come prepared:

• Bring gloves for the scramble!
• Lunch & snacks
• At least 2L water
• Comfortable athletic clothing
• Hiking boots recommended
